TUBA MUTLU - PILATES TEACHER
My own personal journey with pilates started in 2006 due to my scoliosis and discomfort it caused. Seeing the wonders of pilates has done for me, I decided to embark on a journey to qualify as a teacher in order to share my knowledge and experience.
Having my own mechanical back issue and hyper mobility helped me to develop an understanding, how to work around injuries as well as the ability to modify exercises to give the body time to adjust.
I am fully qualified teacher, who is trained by Alan Herdman in body conditioning/ modified pilates and Peak Pilates Level 2 in classical pilates. I have over ten years of teaching experience at various physiotherapy clinics and studios.
I encourage my clients to embark their pilates journey through correct movement technique, developing body awareness and alignment. I like to adjust exercises whenever needed to the each client's level, flexibility and strength.
I have experience with working with elderly, postural issues, back problems caused by prolonged sitting hours, imbalances, hyper mobility and knee problems.
SILVIJA PETRUSONYTE - MASSAGE THERAPIST
The need to help a family member recover in the best way possible is what drove Silvija to become qualified in massage therapy.
After four years of practice and a long trip to India where she graduated from Kerala Ayurvedic therapy clinic, she is as passionate about the healing power of massage.
Silvija embodies compassion, and possesses a soothing touch with a blended approach heavily influenced by the sport remedial massage techniques. Those are one of the most popular techniques sought by clients from all around the world.
She takes her time to accommodate each individual, she works with by understanding pressure preferences and pain tolerance is subjective, and does her best to match each client’s desired needs.
Her holistic style combines clinically based deep tissue, myofascial techniques, and stretching to calm, reset, and relax the body. Flowing movement is also incorporated to help the body’s natural healing process and reconnect the client as a whole.
